No Questions Returns

We are proud to have one of the best return polices in the U.S.  No Restocking fees.  No headaches or hassles.  Doesn’t look right in your house? Not a problem.  Your spouse decided to turn the living room into a game room?  No worries!  Want to exchange for something else?  We can make that happen, too!  If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason in the first 30 days after you receive your order, you can return it for an exchange or full refund minus our shipping and handling fees.  If there is a problem due to shipping damage or we sent the wrong item, and it cannot be repaired, we will send a replacement free of charge to you.  For damaged pieces, see No Worry Damage Protection / No Question Return Policy

  • Please notify us at info@thefurnitureexpo.com.  Please include the name the order was placed in, Order Number and what pieces are being returned.
  • Wrap the pieces in the original packing they arrived in.  All returns must be in their original and new condition.
  • Call us at (800) 737-7702 to let us know when your package is ready to be picked up.  Unlike other companies who make you arrange your own shipping back, we will be happy to do this for you.  Why?  If you do it on your own, you will have to pay standard shipping rates .  We are happy to share our deeply discounted volume rates with you to help.  Even if you weren’t happy for some reason, we hope our assistance will help you in reccomending us to someone you know.
  • As soon as your items are picked up, we will issue your refund.  We will issue the credit to the original card that was used to purchase.
  • In the event that a purchase was made with a free shipping offer, our actual shipping costs to you will still be deducted from the refund.  In other words, free shipping is a one-way offer.   In the event the order is returned for any reason or is canceled but has already shipped the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges. In the event that an order is canceled but has not shipped, no shipping charges will be due. (Except for custom furniture; please see below)
  • Due to the time and effort it takes to make a custom set of furniture, all orders canceled more than 7 days after the purchase but have not yet shipped will incur a 15% restocking fee.

No Worry Damage Protection

Our furniture all ships very well packaged and we use the best transporters in the country to make sure your furniture arrives safely.  However, accidents can happen and because of that we insure EVERY single shipment at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE to you. One advantage this gives you is that they will call you 24 hrs in advance to schedule a delivery time since they will need you to be there to sign for it. We do this not because we are expecting damage but because it can happen. We are very fortunate to have a less than 2% damage rate which is less than 2 in 100 shipments. In the event that a piece does get damaged, it is very easy to take care of. When the furniture arrives, be sure to inspect it before you sign for it. This is especially true if you notice any damage to the packaging.   In the event there is damage, follow these four simple steps:

  1. Don’t panic; it’s insured.
  2. Keep all of the good pieces.
  3. With the driver still there, call us at (800) 737-7702 and we will help you determine if the damaged piece should be kept with you or sent back.  Please do not make this decision before speaking with us.
  4. Sign the Bill Of Lading, making sure to notate the specific damage.  State only the facts of the damage.

It is very important that you follow these steps so that we can give you the highest level of customer service.In the rare event that there is hidden damage that isn’t seen until after the driver leaves, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery to report it. This gives us time to file the claim. Most delivery companies have a 48 hour window to report hidden damage so it is important that we follow their guidelines.

Collier’s Furniture Expo reserves the right to attempt to repair or replace manufacturing defects and freight damage at our discretion.

Since all of our furniture ships insured, if the piece is damaged we reserve the right to replace or repair the piece.  If you do not desire a replacement or repair, you may return it using our No Question Return Policy.

We will accept claims for furniture with hidden damage with proof of damage (i.e. pictures, video, etc) within 48hours of the receiving date.

Any and all manufacturing defects including but not limited to dye lot issues must be reported within 14 days of receipt of furniture.

Collier’s Furniture Expo is not responsible for the repair or exchange due to consumer abuse. Examples of consumer abuse are slices/ink marks/cigarette burns/scratches or scuffs on pillows and inner areas.

All furniture is inspected thoroughly prior to shipment and heavy-duty special leather furniture packaging is used to prevent damages.We do not guarantee delivery dates.

In the rare event that we do promise a delivery date, it will be noted on your invoice from us.  If you do not have an invoice with a typed delivery date, you do not have a guaranteed delivery date and cancellations for that reason will have a 15% restocking fee and any applicable shipping charges.

Custom Furniture
When an option, we are happy to customize pieces or collections with special requests or colors, special order merchandise is custom made upon order and is non-returnable and generally non-refundable. A custom piece or set is any piece we sell that is not in stock, has to be produced, has color options, or is designated as takes more than 14 days to ship.  For example, if the stated ship time is 2-4 weeks, that is a custom piece of furniture.

Special orders require a minimum 50% deposit, non-refundable after 1 week from time of purchase.  Special orders have a 50% cancellation fee, if the order is canceled more than 7 days after placement.

Under certain conditions, special orders can be returned via our normal return policy however there is a 50% restocking fee.

Any furniture that is authorized to be returned by Collier’s Furniture Expo Returns Department must be returned to Collier’s Furniture Expo’s warehouse within thirty (30) calendar days for the buyer to receive credit on their account.

After thirty (30) days the credit will be issued.

Dust Covers:  Dust covers are for aesthetic purposes only and serve no function for your furniture.  In the event that a dust cover is damaged, Collier’s Furniture Expo assumes no liability but will be happy to direct you to a technician who can replace it for you if you really desire it.  Since it cannot be seen and serves no function, we strongly recommend not replacing it.

Returns Shipping Packaging

  • Furniture shall be completely packaged with protective materials that will not cause damage to the leather but will protect the furniture and leather
  • No cardboard contact with leather (will cause scuffs)
  • No bubble wrap or bubble contact with leather
  • Bottom of furniture shall have cardboard sheet between the furniture and the wood pallet.  No wood contact with leather
  • Legs must be removed and packaged separately in a way not to damage the furniture during transport
  • If packing does not meet Collier’s Furniture Expo standards, Collier’s Furniture Expo will not accept the returning merchandise and the customer will not receive credit for the furniture
  • All returns must be received within thirty days of notification. Returns must be packaged properly for return shipment. Any returns not received within thirty (30) days will be charged back to the customer until merchandise is received. Once merchandise is received, a credit will be issued.
